There are several movies that the Black community considers "classics." One of those movies is Boyz N The Hood. This t-shirt is a salute to a movie that brings a handful of things to the forefront that go on in our community. This particular quote was used because one of the first things the Black community has to do is come to grips with what we are up against. The quote used on the t-shirt sheds light on DoughBoy's thoughts on what he feels those outside of our communities fail to understand.
It is strongly recommended that women order shirts a size down.

Some of us may be wondering what the censor bar represents. As you will see with a handful of pieces, a censor bar or a crown will be used to display individuals in either an ignorant state (censor bar) or an awakening/awakened state (crown).
The ignorant state correlates with "us" doing things in our own community that serves as a detrimental, destructive approach with our own people. We all are familiar with some form of behavior that serves as a hindrance in our communities.
The awakening/awakened state represents individuals who are aware of the dangers in Black communities and actually do their part to improve our communities by tackling issues head-on. An example of a person in an awakened state would be Colin Kaepernick.
